What Fabrics Are Your Products Made Of?
Our fabric is made from 95% viscose from bamboo and 5% spandex, with a weight of 220 GSM. It is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified to ensure it’s free from harmful substances.
What Exactly Is "Viscose Derived From Bamboo?"
Viscose from bamboo is an ultra-soft, breathable fabric that’s gentle on sensitive skin. It’s lightweight, stretchy, and comfortable to wear in every season.
At Lolly & Laddie Boutique, we use viscose staple fibers made from natural bamboo pulp, including special blends like TANBOOCEL®, AWELL®, Primeval Fiber, TURALEAR®, and ECO BAMBOO®. These fibers are spun-dyed (using pigments instead of harsh chemical dyes) and come from manufacturers committed to safe and responsible production.
Is Bamboo Viscose Eco-Friendly?
Bamboo itself is a fast-growing, renewable plant that doesn’t require pesticides or irrigation. However, the process to turn bamboo pulp into viscose fabric does involve chemicals.
Because of this, we carefully select partners who:
Follow responsible, environmentally-conscious production practices
Use closed-loop systems to reduce environmental impact wherever possible
Hold OEKO-TEX® certification, meaning their fabrics are tested and free from harmful substances and safe for you and your family
We’re committed to transparency and working with manufacturers who prioritize sustainability and safety.
Are Your Products OEKO-TEX® Certified?
Yes, our products are OEKO-TEX® certified! This means they’ve been tested for harmful substances and meet strict safety standards to ensure they’re safe for you and your family to use.
OEKO-TEX® certification is important because it guarantees that the fabrics in our products don’t contain chemicals or toxins that could be harmful to your skin or health. It’s a trusted label in the textile industry that gives you peace of mind knowing what you’re buying is both safe and responsibly made.
Do You Use Any Flame Retardant Chemicals?
No, we do not use flame retardant chemicals in our children’s sleepwear. Instead, we rely on snug-fitting designs to meet safety standards and keep your child safe.
What Does “Snug Fit” Mean And Why Is It Important?
“Snug fit” means the pajamas fit closely to your child’s body. This reduces the risk of catching fire, so flame retardant chemicals aren’t necessary. It’s a natural, safer way to protect your child while keeping them comfy.
CPSC Tested & Compliant Children’s Sleepwear
All of our children’s sleepwear is designed and manufactured in alignment with CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) guidelines for children’s sleepwear. This includes:
Snug-fit designs without flame retardants
Third-party CPSC test reports verifying safety
Proper labeling and detailed tracking
Thorough testing of all materials and construction
