What is the difference between Ready-to-Ship and Preorder items?
Ready-to-Ship (RTS) items are already in stock at L&L HQ and ready to begin their journey to you. These orders typically ship within 5–7 business days.
Preorder items are different. Preorders are open for a limited time, and once they close, production begins. This allows us to offer exclusive prints, styles, and collections that may not be available again once they're gone.
Think of RTS as "ready now" and Preorder as "worth the wait."
If your order contains both RTS and Preorder items, your entire order will ship according to the preorder turnaround time unless separate orders are placed. Be sure to check the estimated turnaround time listed on the product page before ordering.
How do your pajamas fit?
Most of our styles run true to size and are designed with comfort, stretch, and everyday wear in mind.
Our sleepers are intentionally designed with extra room to grow, helping little ones get more wear out of them before sizing up. Thanks to the natural stretch of bamboo, many families find their little ones can comfortably wear the same size for longer than traditional pajamas.
For the best fit, we always recommend checking our Sizing Guide, where you'll find manufacturer measurements, fit recommendations, and real-life sizing experiences from other L&L families.
Because every child grows differently, the Sizing Guide is your best resource when deciding which size to order.
Do you restock sold-out items?
Sometimes!
Many of our prints are exclusive and may not return once they're sold out. However, certain items may be restocked based on demand and inventory availability.
The best thing to do is sign up for restock notifications directly on the product page. If an item returns, you'll be among the first to know.
And if we're being honest... if you've fallen in love with a print, we usually recommend grabbing it while it's available. Some favorites have a habit of disappearing faster than expected.
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your L&L order!
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in its original packaging
- Tags must still be attached and intact
- The return must be initiated within 7 days of delivery
Please note that all Ready-to-Ship (RTS) items, warehouse sale items, sale items, blankets, bedding, bows, headbands, scrunchies, loveys, Kindle cases, holiday items, and pet items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
If you have questions before purchasing, we're always happy to help at support@lollyandladdie.com.
My package says delivered, but I can't find it.
Don't panic just yet!
We recommend checking around your porch, mailbox, garage, side door, with neighbors, and with anyone else in your household. Carriers will occasionally mark packages as delivered before they actually arrive.
If your package was recently marked as delivered, please allow up to 24 hours for it to show up before taking any further steps.
If your package still hasn't arrived after 24 hours:
- If you purchased Route Package Protection, please contact us at support@lollyandladdie.com and we'll help guide you through the claims process.
- If you did not purchase Route Package Protection, we recommend contacting your local USPS office directly, as they have access to GPS delivery scans and can often provide additional information about where the package was delivered.
Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, our ability to investigate is unfortunately very limited, which is why we highly recommend Route Package Protection for added peace of mind.
How should I care for my bamboo?
A little extra care goes a long way when it comes to keeping your L&L favorites looking their best.
We recommend washing your items before first wear. For best results, turn garments inside out and machine wash in cold water with like colors. Please do not bleach.
If your item has a drawstring, we recommend tying it before washing to help prevent it from pulling out during the wash cycle.
To help preserve softness, shape, and longevity, we recommend laying items flat to dry whenever possible. While tumble drying on low heat is acceptable if needed, avoiding the dryer can help reduce pilling and keep your bamboo looking newer for longer.
For items with light backgrounds or bright colors, we also recommend using a color catcher during washing to help prevent color transfer.
A little extra love in the laundry room helps your bamboo stay soft, stretchy, and ready for all the snuggles, adventures, and bedtime stories ahead.
What's something you hope every customer knows?
That every order matters.
Whether it's your first order or your fiftieth, we're incredibly grateful you're here. Every purchase, comment, photo, recommendation, and message helps support our small business and allows us to keep doing what we love.
We never take that for granted.

Whether you're placing your first order or your fiftieth, you'll find everything you need right here.
Ready-To-Ship (RTS)
What does "Ready-to-Ship" mean?
Ready-to-Ship (RTS) items are already here at L&L HQ and ready for their trip to you!
No production time. No waiting on manufacturing. Just cute bamboo goodies packed up and shipped straight from us to you.
How long does it take RTS orders to ship?
RTS orders typically ship within 5–7 business days.
While we always work to get orders out as quickly as possible, processing times may be slightly longer during large sales, new launches, holidays, or other busy periods.
Why hasn't my RTS order shipped yet?
The most common reason is that your order is still within our normal 5–7 business day processing window.
Another possibility? Your order contains a preorder item. If RTS and preorder items were purchased together, the entire order will ship according to the preorder turnaround time.
If it's been longer than expected, feel free to reach out and we'd be happy to take a look.
Can I combine multiple RTS orders?
Unfortunately, no.
Shipping is automatically calculated at checkout based on the items in your order, their weight, and delivery location. Because of this, we're unable to combine separate orders after they've been placed.
We know the struggle... sometimes the second order happens about 30 seconds after the first one.
What happens if an RTS item sells out?
When an RTS item sells out, it's sold out.
Some items may be restocked depending on demand, while others may not return once inventory is gone.
If you have your eye on something, we recommend signing up for restock notifications directly on the product page. That way, if it makes a comeback, you'll be the first to know
Preorders
What does "Preorder" mean?
A preorder is your chance to reserve exclusive L&L prints and styles before they go into production.
Instead of keeping thousands of every print sitting in a warehouse, we open orders for a limited time, collect orders, and then begin production. This allows us to offer unique collections that may never return once they're gone.
Think of it as calling dibs before everyone else.
How long do preorders take?
Most preorders have a turnaround time of 10–12 weeks, though this can vary depending on the collection.
The estimated turnaround time will always be listed on the product page before you order, so there are no surprises.
We know waiting isn't fun, but great things take time... and so do custom bamboo pajamas.
When will I be charged for my preorder?
Your payment is collected at checkout when you place your preorder.
This reserves your items and secures your spot before production begins.
Where can I find preorder updates?
We post preorder updates on our Preorder Updates page throughout the production process.
We also share updates through email, social media, and our VIP group whenever we have new information to share.
Trust us, we're just as excited for your order to arrive as you are.
Can I cancel my preorder?
Because preorder items are produced specifically based on customer orders, preorder sales are considered final once the preorder closes and production begins.
If you have a question about your order, reach out to us and we'll always do our best to help.
Why do preorders take so long?
Great question!
Every preorder goes through multiple stages after the preorder closes, including design finalization, fabric printing, cutting, sewing, quality control, packaging, overseas shipping, customs clearance, and finally delivery to L&L HQ before we can begin shipping orders.
It's a long journey, but it's what allows us to create the exclusive prints and styles you love.
What happens if there is a production delay?
If a delay occurs, we'll keep everyone informed through our website, email, and social media channels.
While delays are never our goal, we'd rather provide accurate updates than make promises we can't keep. Transparency is always our priority.
Sizing & Fit
How do your pajamas fit?
Our pajamas are designed with a snug fit in accordance with federal safety regulations, but thanks to the stretch of bamboo fabric, they're incredibly comfortable and flexible for little ones on the move.
Many customers find their L&L pajamas fit longer than traditional pajamas because of the natural stretch and thoughtful design.
For even more fit information, be sure to visit our Sizing Page, where you'll find measurements, fit tips, and real-life sizing experiences shared by L&L families.
Do your pajamas run true to size?
Many of our styles run true to size.
Our sleepers are intentionally designed with extra room to grow, helping little ones enjoy them longer before sizing up. Between the stretch of bamboo and the grow-with-me fit, many families get months of extra wear from their sleepers.
What if my child is between sizes?
If your child is between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up.
The stretch of bamboo helps provide a comfortable fit, and the extra room often means more wear time as your little one grows.
You can also check out our Sizing Resource Page, where customers share the sizes they purchased, their child's age and measurements, and how items fit in real life.
Where can I find measurements?
All measurements can be found on our dedicated Sizing Page.
We've included manufacturer-provided measurements, fit guidance, and real-life sizing experiences from L&L customers to help you choose the best size with confidence.
Why does sizing vary between brands?
If you've ever wondered how your child can wear three different sizes across three different brands, you're not alone.
Sizing isn't standardized, so every brand uses its own measurements, fit preferences, and fabric types.
That's why we always recommend checking the size chart, even if you know your child's usual size. The measurements will always be your best guide.
Tracking + Package Issues
How do I track my order?
As soon as your order ships, we'll send a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Then comes the hardest part: trying not to check the tracking every five minutes. We can't help with that part.
I didn't receive a shipping email. What should I do?
First, double-check that your order is outside of the listed processing time.
Ready-to-Ship orders typically ship within 5–7 business days, while preorder items ship according to the turnaround time listed when you placed your order. If your order is still within that timeframe, it likely hasn't shipped yet.
If your order should have already shipped, check your spam, junk, promotions, and updates folders, as shipping emails sometimes end up there.
Still can't find it? Send us an email at support@lollyandladdie.com and we'll be happy to help track it down.

- If you did not purchase Route Package Protection, we recommend contacting your local USPS office directly, as they have access to GPS delivery scans and can often provide additional information about where the package was delivered.
Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, our ability to investigate is unfortunately very limited, which is why we highly recommend Route Package Protection for added peace of mind.
What is Route Package Protection and how do I file a claim?
Route Package Protection provides coverage for lost, stolen, or damaged packages during transit.
It's an optional add-on available at checkout that can provide extra peace of mind from the moment your package leaves our hands until it reaches yours.
The easiest way to file a claim is to simply email us at support@lollyandladdie.com.
We'll help guide you through the process and work directly with Route when needed. Since we have the most up-to-date information on inventory and replacement availability, this is often the fastest way to get your issue resolved.
We're always happy to help make the process as smooth as possible.
Why hasn't my tracking updated?
Sometimes tracking takes a little nap.
Carriers don't always scan packages at every stop along the way, so it's not uncommon to see tracking pause for a few days before updating again.
If your tracking hasn't updated for an extended period of time, reach out and we'll be happy to take a closer look.
Why did my order arrive in multiple packages?
Some orders are simply too excited to travel together.
Larger orders may be split into multiple packages to ensure everything arrives safely. If this happens, you'll receive tracking information for each package.
My package is being returned to sender. What should I do?
If you notice your package is being returned to sender, please contact us as soon as possible at support@lollyandladdie.com.
Once the package is returned to us, we'll reach out to discuss available options for reshipping. Please note that additional shipping charges may apply.
Can I update my shipping address after placing an order?
Maybe!
If your order has not yet shipped, send us an email at support@lollyandladdie.com as soon as possible and we'll do our best to update it.
Once an order has shipped, we're unable to make changes to the delivery address, so the sooner you reach out, the better.
Product & Care
What fabrics are your products made of?
Our signature fabric is made from 95% viscose derived from bamboo and 5% spandex, creating the buttery-soft feel you love with plenty of stretch for comfort, movement, and longer wear. At 220 GSM, it offers the perfect balance of softness, durability, and year-round comfort.
What exactly is "viscose derived from bamboo"?
We know, it's a bit of a mouthful.
Simply put, bamboo is the source material used to create the fabric used in our products. The bamboo is processed into incredibly soft fibers, resulting in the buttery-soft, stretchy, and comfortable fabric that so many families love.
Bamboo is also a fast-growing, renewable resource that generally requires less water than many traditional crops. We understand that some people have questions about the manufacturing process used to turn bamboo into fabric and we encourage everyone to do their own research and make the choices that feel right for their family.
At Lolly & Laddie Boutique, we work with manufacturing partners who prioritize safe and responsible production practices, and we choose OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabrics that have been tested for harmful substances. Our goal is to provide products that are soft, comfortable, and made with safety in mind.
Are your products OEKO-TEX® Certified and do you use any flame retardant chemicals?
Our products are made using OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabric, meaning they have been independently tested for a wide range of harmful substances and meet strict safety standards.
Our children's sleepwear is designed to meet federal safety requirements through its snug-fitting design and does not contain added flame retardant chemicals.
Because when it comes to the little ones wearing our products, safety is always a priority.
What is the yellow tag on the pajamas, what does "snug fit" mean, and why does it matter?
That little yellow tag is required by federal law for children's sleepwear.
"Snug fit" means the pajamas are designed to fit close to the body. This helps children's sleepwear meet safety standards without the use of flame-retardant chemicals.
While our bamboo fabric is incredibly stretchy and comfortable, we recommend choosing the appropriate size and avoiding oversized sleepwear when worn for sleeping.
Are your products CPSC tested and compliant?
Absolutely.
Our children's sleepwear is tested and manufactured to comply with applicable Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) regulations and requirements.
We work closely with our manufacturing partners to ensure our products meet safety standards so you can shop with confidence.
Why does bamboo pill?
Pilling is a natural occurrence with many soft fabrics, especially in areas that experience frequent friction.
Things like crawling babies, car seats, blankets, rough surfaces, and washing with towels can all contribute to pilling over time.
The good news? Pilling doesn't affect the quality, safety, or comfort of your bamboo. It simply comes with loving your pajamas well.

The Fun Stuff
Do you take customer print suggestions?
Absolutely!
In fact, many of our favorite designs started as customer requests. We can't promise every suggestion will become a print, but we love hearing your ideas and are always listening.
How many times do you change your mind on a print before it launches?
At least once.
Usually five times.
Occasionally twenty.
What starts as "this looks perfect" somehow turns into zooming in 400% to debate whether a bow should be slightly bigger.
What's the official fuel of L&L?
Diet Coke.
The answer is Diet Coke..
What's the quickest way to get us excited?
Seeing photos of your little ones in L&L.
Whether it's bedtime, vacations, birthdays, holiday mornings, or just everyday moments, seeing our products become part of your family's memories never gets old.
How many print ideas are currently sitting in a folder waiting for their turn?
A lot. Enough that we could probably keep launching collections for a very long time.
We have entire folders full of ideas waiting for their moment.
Some eventually come to life. Others just live in the "maybe someday" folder.
What makes L&L different?
At the end of the day, we're just a small business that genuinely cares.
We celebrate your milestones, get excited when you share photos, read your messages, and do a little happy dance with every order that comes through.
L&L wouldn't be what it is without this amazing community.
