From the very beginning, we knew Lolly & Laddie was meant to be about more than pajamas. Of course, we love creating soft, cozy pieces that bring families together, but just as important to us is using this little corner of the world we’ve built to make a difference.
Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of launching and supporting several initiatives that mean so much to our hearts. Each one represents a piece of our story and the incredible community that surrounds us.
Supporting the Buddy House
Since opening, we’ve donated 5% of our sales each October to the Buddy House, a part of Down Syndrome of South Central Kentucky (DSSKY). This cause is near and dear to us, and we’re honored to support the incredible work they do for families and children with Down syndrome.
October may be Down Syndrome Awareness Month, but our hope is to carry that spirit of inclusion and kindness throughout the entire year. 💙💛
Medical Adaptive Sleepers
Another project close to our hearts is our line of medical adaptive sleepers designed for little ones with special medical needs. These sleepers include thoughtful openings for feeding tubes and medical lines, making comfort and care a little easier for families navigating tough journeys.
We’ve been blessed to donate many of these sleepers to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and to families within our own L&L community. It’s one of the most meaningful parts of what we do, and we plan to continue growing this initiative in the future.
Community Giving
Our community has also come together for so many amazing causes, from teacher wish lists and NICU family gifts to supporting local moms and surprise donations for families in need. Every time, we’re reminded of how generous and compassionate this group is.
We’ve watched our customers step up for people they’ve never met, sending sleepers, gift cards, care packages, and messages of encouragement. That’s what makes L&L feel more like a family than a business.
Looking Ahead
As we continue to grow, our mission remains simple: to create beautiful, comfortable pieces that do good. Whether it’s through design, donations, or simply spreading kindness, we believe small businesses have the power to make a big impact, and we’re so thankful to do that with all of you by our side.
