At Lolly & Laddie, we share a lot of the everyday moments, the cozy mornings, the big milestones, and the little in-between memories that make up family life. But every now and then, we want to slow down and share what’s meaningful to us, too.
Easter holds so many things at once.
It can look like quiet church pews and dressed-up littles… or sleepy kids in pajamas, candy before breakfast, coffee reheated one too many times, and a house that feels joyful and loud and lived in… and probably a few plastic eggs you’ll forget about and find months later.
And in all of it, the simple moments and the sacred ones, is Jesus.
For us, Easter isn’t just a tradition, it’s something deeply personal. It’s the story of Jesus going to the cross, carrying what we couldn’t, and rising again three days later. The empty tomb is where we find our hope, our peace, and the reminder that broken things can be made new.
That meaning sits alongside all the traditions we love, whether the day is spent in church or at home, dressed up or still in pajamas.
At Lolly & Laddie, we love getting to be part of those kinds of mornings in your homes.
This year feels especially meaningful, as it’s our son’s very first Easter… and if we’re being honest, it might look like him being more fascinated with the crinkly basket filler than anything we carefully picked out for him. But seeing the day through new eyes makes it all feel even more special.
We also know our community is made up of many different beliefs, backgrounds, and ways of celebrating. No matter what Easter looks like for you, you are welcome here. Truly.
For us, this day is a reminder of what matters most. That there is hope, even in hard seasons. And if we’re being honest, running this business has had its share of hard seasons. There have been long days, growing pains, and moments where things felt overwhelming. But time and time again, we’ve seen God’s faithfulness show up in the middle of it.
That same hope, the kind that doesn’t change with circumstances, is what carries us through.
However you’re celebrating this year, we hope your day is filled with joy, rest, and meaningful moments with the people you love.
“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.” — Matthew 28:6
