This past weekend, our sweet little guy officially turned one.
It's hard to believe an entire year has already passed. It feels like just yesterday we were announcing our pregnancy, preparing for his arrival, and dreaming about what life would look like as first-time parents. Now, somehow, we're celebrating his first birthday.
This past year has been one of the busiest, most rewarding, and most meaningful years of our lives.
Lolly & Laddie has grown in ways I never imagined and so has our little boy. In many ways, they've grown up together. While the business celebrated new collections, milestones, and exciting growth, we were also celebrating first smiles, first words, first steps, and so many unforgettable family moments.
Running a small business while raising a baby hasn't always been easy. There have been warehouse days with a toddler by my side, emails answered during nap time, late nights packing orders after bedtime, and early mornings getting ready for another busy day. But every challenge has reminded me why I started Lolly & Laddie in the first place.
Family has always been at the heart of this business.
When I design collections or plan new launches, I think about the memories they'll become a part of. Birthday mornings, family vacations, holiday traditions, bedtime snuggles, and all of the little moments in between. Watching our own son grow this year has only strengthened that mission.
As I looked at his tiny feet covered in birthday cake, I couldn't help but think about how quickly time passes. The little moments become the big memories before you even realize it.
To everyone who has supported Lolly & Laddie this past year, thank you. Whether you've placed one order or dozens, shared our posts, recommended us to a friend, or simply followed along on this journey, you've helped our family build something we're incredibly proud of.
Every order helps support not only our small business, but our family, too. Because of you, I've had the opportunity to spend this first year making memories with our son while continuing to grow the business I love.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of our story. We can't wait to continue making memories with your families for many years to come.
