This time of year looks a little different behind the scenes for us and we wanted to take a moment to share why it matters so deeply.
Chinese New Year is one of the most important holidays of the year for our manufacturers and their families. It’s a season centered on rest, family, renewal, and tradition. Many workers travel long distances to return to their hometowns to spend time with loved ones they may only see once a year. Factories temporarily slow down or fully close so people can truly be present during this time.
And while it means a brief pause in production, it also reminds us of something far more important and that is the people behind every single piece we create.
Our manufacturers play an enormous role in the heart of Lolly & Laddie. They bring our designs to life. They sew the seams your babies grow in. They pour skill, care, and time into every sleeper, set, blanket, and accessory that reaches your home. What you see as a finished product on your doorstep represents many hands, many hours, and a lot of behind-the-scenes dedication.
We are deeply grateful for them. Not just for their work, but for who they are as people. They are mothers, fathers, grandparents, sons, daughters, and providers for their families. They deserve this time to rest, celebrate, and be together just like we all do during our own holidays.
We also want to thank you for your patience and understanding during this season. Any slight shifts in timelines come from honoring this holiday the right way. We never want to rush people through moments that matter most in their lives.
