The other day, I had an order completely packed and ready to go when I noticed something on the package.
A crumb.
A literal snack crumb from my son.
And yes, I repackaged the entire thing. ๐
It made me laugh because if there was ever one tiny thing that could perfectly explain being a mom and a business owner at the same time, that was probably it.
A lot of L&L happens in between normal mom life.
Iโm answering emails while making snacks. Checking inventory while toys are all over the floor. Looking over new designs while also trying to keep up with a toddler. Packing orders while someone is asking for more food five minutes after they just ate.
And every once in a while, those two worlds overlap.
Sometimes very literally.
Like a crumb on your package.
The funny part is, I donโt really think about L&L and motherhood as two completely separate parts of my life anymore. Theyโre justโฆ my life.
This business has grown alongside my family. There have been babies, pregnancies, late nights, nap schedules, sick days, trips, piles of laundry, and a whole lot of snacks happening behind the scenes while L&L keeps growing too.
And while the behind-the-scenes part may be chaotic, I never want the care that goes into your orders to feel that way.
So yes, if I see a crumb on something, Iโm starting over.
Because even though L&L has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined, your package is still being handled by real people who care about what shows up at your door.
People who also happen to have children running around asking for snacks.
Thank you for letting this business grow right alongside our family.
And just know that if there is ever a Cheddar Bunny crumb involved, it did not make it past quality control. ๐
