Some stories don’t have clear timelines.
They don’t follow a plan, a checklist, or a “next step” that makes sense. They unfold slowly, sometimes quietly, and often with more questions than answers.
April 19th marks National Infertility Awareness Week and we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the stories that are often unseen, but deeply felt.
Because behind so many families are seasons of waiting.
Waiting that feels hopeful one day and heavy the next.
Waiting that stretches longer than expected.
Waiting that can feel isolating, even in a world full of people.
Infertility can look different for everyone. For some, it’s months or years of trying. For others, it’s loss, unanswered questions, or paths that didn’t go as planned. It can be physical, emotional, financial, and deeply personal all at once.
And often, it’s something people carry quietly.
We know that in a space like ours, where babies and children are at the center of so much of what we do, this week can bring up a lot of emotions. Joy and grief can exist side by side. Celebration and longing can live in the same heart.
If that’s you, we see you.
You are not forgotten in this space.
Your story matters.
Your waiting matters.
As part of this, our upcoming Preorder 24 will include a new print, Worth the Wait. It was created with these stories in mind, with care, intention, and a deep respect for the journeys that don’t follow a straight line.
If this week feels heavy for you, we hope you give yourself permission to feel it. To step back when you need to. To protect your peace.
And if you know someone walking this road, a simple “I’m thinking of you” can mean more than you realize.
We are holding space this week for the waiting, the hoping, the grieving, and the not knowing. You are not alone here.
With love,
